Hi!
I can confirm that the problem in PR 40081 exist for Asus A7V333-Raid,Fw,Snd
motherboard aswell. And that the solution is the same.
That is get snd_pcm.ko _and_ snd_cmi.ko from freebsd 4.5, then execute:
kldload /path/snd_pcm.ko
kldload /path/snd_cmi.ko
Make sure it won't load snd stuff from /modules
