I booted the one system experiencing this issue, a NUC8i5BEK, and when running 'jail -r <jail>, the interface stops responding for several seconds while the jail shuts down and the em0 interface is removed from bridge0. I can test this by pressing a key several times in an SSH session and there will be no input/output until the interface picks back up.
