Hi Nathaniel, I think you would be much better off running FreeBSD on a MIPS based device. There aren’t much supported ARM network appliances at the moment. The setup I have running at home and am really happy with is a Ubiquiti Edgerouter Lite running FreeBSD 10 and one of their access points mounted on the ceiling. Another option would be a modern consumer router like the TP-Link TL-1043ND v2, which just got support a few months ago (although only -CURRENT).
