userland ppp
default:
 set log Phase Chat LCP IPCP CCP tun command
 ident user-ppp VERSION (built COMPILATIONDATE)
 set log phase lcp chat
 enable dns
 set timeout 0

that "enable dns" seemed to tell win98 folk what the dns address to use was.
but it does not seem to tell win xp pro dialup.
