The current sound code (and I think previous ones) have probs with /dev/dsp and /dev/audio devices for GUS MAX. GUS specific sound (e.g. gmod) works fine though. Also I have some initialization prob with my GUS 'cuz sometimes it comes up and it pretends to be playing but no volume. Stevenhome | help
