I haven't fixed it, but thanks for the replies to the start of X windows - root vs. other user question. I have another question. I have FreeBSD installed on a dual boot machine, and the boot menu is: F1: DOS F2: FreeBSD I would love to change the entries to something like: F1: Windows F2: UNIX Is there a file somewhere I can edit? Thanks, Frank -- Frank J. Eigler frank-eigler@usa.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
