Hello, shutdown, halt and reboot give me some trouble with 6.x-versions of FreeBSD, the shutdown-process stops after printing "All buffers synced" For one server, this seems to have started after putting a PCI-800H sio-card in a different slot so it didn't share irqs with the on-board adaptec scsi any more, and as a result the server can't be rebooted remotely any more (I have to cycle power manually). Maybe this is related to PR 93903? http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=kern/93903 For dmesg of my server, see http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=51982 (even though this PR relates to a different problem) On my home-pc (no scsi) I have the same issue, but only sometimes. Suggestions, anything I should try? Regards, Holger Kipp dmesg: Copyright (c) 1992-2006 The FreeBSD Project.
