You also need to consider posting in plain text. please keep html for websites, not for email. Lest we start see vcard attachments as well. It depends on what sort of attachment is appended. It would be foolish to open an executable attached, but a lot of clients come default to attach email, when doing a follow up. It is a hassle to have to put stuff through a virus checker when reading a mail list - so unless there are very good reasons for not doing so I delete such mail list posting rather than read them. I would recomend that everyone thinks very carefully before opening attachments on mail lists - even one such as this - it is easy for people to masquerade as others.. My experience comes from having lost a lot of data due to a virus introduced from an attachment to list mail.
