>Description:
The machine is a Siemens Primergy N400.
It has a Adaptec AIC7899 (with no drives - 4.1-RELEASE complained
about "someone reset channel A", so I downloaed 4.1.1).
It also has a Qlogic FCAL, which 4.1 detects with some hassle.
The controller with the drive is a Adaptec I2O RAID-Controller
(I don't know the details, it must be one of those DPTs).
4.1 doesn't detect any disks.

During boot-up of 4.1.1, it probes the 7899 and then brings this
trap 12 while in kernel mode
....
and it reboots after 15 sec.
>How-To-Repeat:
reboot
>Fix:
