I am afraid I can't really help. Does the plugin tells any warning message ? If not I doubt there is any missing plugin... Anyways try first to check the audio levels, making sure the relevant are __not__ "zero" (i.e. PCM and so on). Then try to "understand" if any error message is thrown on the console somewhere dhelp
