My impression from the last time I looked at that code is that they're setting
a lot of values explicitly, but those values are all the same as our defaults. 
If you notice any setting changes which could improve FreeBSD's EFS performance
please let me know though -- I'll be happy to adjust our automount defaults.

I've considered creating a "mount_efs" for FreeBSD but my impression was that
for most users the automount option all they need -- you're clearly an
exception to this.
