I'll answer myself;

For the first test, I didn't succeed.

By just following the instructions, I got to "i4b_ipr.c" during compile
of the kernel. 

I haven't had the time to look more into it, but this is the last part
of the kernel-compile:

If you have quick tips (like "you have to review all patches -this will
be much work"), please give it to me. I'll start working on it as soon
as time allows.
