Have a look at ${PORTS}/UIDs and ${PORTS}/GIDs or
http://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/UIDs?view=co
http://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/GIDs?view=co
to get an idea of what's in use by other software.
