The ipfw(8) man page specifies that:

     -c      When entering or showing rules, print them in compact form, i.e.
             without the optional "ip from any to any" string when this does
             not carry any additional information.

But I can't use the option here.

ipfw: illegal option -- c

The real problem behind this is that the manpage doesn't document that the
-c option is available only in IPFW2.
