Well, this is going to sound REALLY stupid, but I have a working sparc-elf-ld now. Building sparc-elf-gcc currently -- I know you are asking yourself, what Kevin, oh what made it work... I grok'd the m68kbinutils port and noted no patches required or other strangeness, but the use of GNU_MAKE...
