First, thank you for being one of the best supported platforms for PowerPC.
I'm fortunate to have the ability of running multiple machines in my home.
So far I have a G5 XServe and a G4 XServe running FreeBSD (the newest 10.1
release). I've yet to get the XServe LED CPU lights working, but I'm
assuming once I get a new kernel built with this support, it should work
just fine.

I'm slowly building applications via Ports, but would like to know if this
group would be interested in me setting up a pkg repository? I'm reading up
on Poudriere, which supposedly will allow you to build pkg packages from
Ports. I have a co-located server I can push these built packages to, and
can also provide SSH access to these instances if others are interested in
helping with maintenance. I for one will be interested in maintaining
packages for G4, because my equipment is older G4 things, and they probably
would take a long time to build/update. By providing built pkg packages,
compilation time across our userbase would diminish tremendously.

Is this something that others would like to have?

Britt
