Looks like you haven't started your X server. Copy
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc into your home directory,
modify the twm line to fvwm95-2 and startx (you gotta have
/usr/X11R6/bin in your path). And also care for having a
.fvwm2rc95 (use a copy of system.fvwmrc95) in your homedir.
