On my Inspiron 3500 sound works (but not across a suspend). But it is recognized differently: chip1: <NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AX Audio controller> mem 0xfe700000-0xfe7fffff,0xfe000000-0xfe3fffff irq 11 at device 0.1 on pci1 pcm0: <CS4231> at port 0x530-0x537,0x538-0x539,0xf8c-0xf94,0xe0e irq 5 drq 0 flags 0xa111 on isa0 Same basic model, different hardware?? But everything else works fine. -- tonym To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
