I've recently acquired a GigaByte GA-7VRXP which uses a KT333/VT8233A combination. Unfortunately, this is not recognized by the current SMB code (/sys/pci/viapm.c). I notice that although the VT8233A has a different PCI chip id (0x31471106) than the (supported) VT8233, the card ID of the 8233A matches the 8233. Does anyone know if the power management registers are the same? Unfortunately, VIA do not appear to publish the technical data for this chipset (though I'd love to be proved wrong here).
