Under both, 1.1.5.1 as well as 2.1.0-current I cannot send mail to a user@domain when domain is our local domain physik. I don't see any special relay host macros in /etc/sendmail.cf. sendmail always wants to resolve the host 'physik'. Excuse me, if this is a sendmail triviality, but I tried various macros (DG) to no avail now. We have a mail host in our campus who knows about the mail aliases. Even when I use this host as relay machine my mail bounces. Any sendmail expert out there? --Chris Christoph P. U.
