Per your subject line, I believe that this is the mpt2 SAS2 device? If 
so, both another developer and I have prototype and incomplete drivers. 
You should contact us both off list to talk about how to move forward.


PR/134520 is about a 1078 that isn't being attached by mpt(4)- different 
problem.
