https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=239207 Bug ID: 239207 Summary: boot0 error if floppy disk is not present Product: Base System Version: 12.0-RELEASE Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: rollingbits@gmail.com After boot0 update/configure with boot0cfg, the two errors read 1 from 0 to 0x1c0e6340, error: 0x80 read 1 from 0 to 0x1x0e6340, error: 0x80 are displayed on screen. The boot tries to read floppy disk (sound and led alert). The disk is not present. The computer have a 3.5" 1.44M floppy disk drive. The expected result is that the boot0: 1. do not search for other drives/ media and 2. respect BIOS configuration. This is a dual boot Intel Pentium 4 computer with Windows XP and FreeBSD 12.0 (p7). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.help
