The "NCR" driver works for the Tekram cards based on the 53c875 or 53c895.
(The 895 is currently only supported in 4.x, but I intend to import the 
changes into 3.x very soon ...)

The AMD chip is "dumb", i.e. causes several interrupts per SCSI transfer ...
