'systat -vmstat' > Thanx for the help.. Oh, there are plenty of other things still to check. Are you sure that setting kern.timecounter.method actually "took"? Check the manual page for your mouse driver, and see if it has any flags that might be relevant. Try changing your printer from interrupt to polled mode.
