I'd guess Tor knows the difference between GPL and BSDL fairly well -
he's one of the FreeBSD developers.

Unfortunately, GPL has a very, very large footing in Norway, up to and
including a lot of the student-computer-clubs requiring (in the
bylaws) the GPL on all code developed on their machines...
