Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Documentation Assignee: freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.org Reporter: eekee57@fastmail.fm Handbook section 23.2.3.2, Upgrading Packages After a Major Version Upgrade, tells the user to use the following command to upgrade ports after a major install, with no alternative given: portmaster -af On my 11.0-RELEASE-p8 installation, a fresh install with just a few packages added, portmaster doesn't exist. Should some portsnap command be there instead? portsnap is installed, and section 4.5 repeatedly gives examples of portsnap usage.
