I've been given another old box. Here's the specs: 486DX at 1193182 Hz with 12288K bytes. $ df Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on /dev/ad0s1a 49583 29837 15780 65% / /dev/ad0s1f 1112831 735055 288750 72% /usr /dev/ad0s1e 19815 862 17368 5% /var procfs 4 4 0 100% /proc $ uptime 10:24PM up 16 days, 9:31, 3 users, load averages: 1.34, 1.27, 1.14 The build world started at 1100 on July 28th. It finished at 14:53 on August 3. Install world took 4 hours. It's been building a kernel for over 2 hours. I'm impressed. That VM must be working overtime. And working well: CPU states: 4.6% user, 0.0% nice, 10.7% system, 79.5% interrupt, 5.2% idle Lots of interrupt. -- Dan Langille [I'm looking for more work] The FreeBSD Diary - http://www.freebsddiary.org/ FreshPorts - http://freshports.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
