[-- Attachment #1 --] I bought a Diamond SupraMax PCI modem and installed it. The modem isn't detected by FreeBSD and I can't find any information on configuring the kernel to support this *&$% modem. Does FreeBSD support this type of modem? Is this **&%#$ thing a Win modem? If not, how do I configure my kernel and get the *&%$^ thing installed? I noticed under Win 98 a PCI serial device was detected before the modem was detected. Ironically, I had a ISA modem in my hand and almost bought this modem, but went against my best instincts.
