Please create separate issues that "depend on" this issue ID, for any ports
that depend on it.

We should probably create a separate issue that blocks this one for "Remove
$arch support" if it is a pre-requisite/dependency for getting this resolve=
d,
assigned to the appropriate people taking care of it.
