sos@FreeBSD.org stands accused of saying: > > What would the sentiment be if I made it possible to build > a FreeBSD-lite out of our sources, ie "make lite" ?? Er, we've been here before. Last time "yes" was the answer, I can't see it having changed much in two months 8) I'd be inclined to perhaps have a big brawl in order to decide what 'lite' is, and then conditionally exclude stuff from the subdir makefiles on .ifndef MAKE_LITE (or some similar environment variable). - I don't know how this would affect 'make release'. I don't think you'd get much support for a heirachy restructure. > Søren Schmidt (sos@FreeBSD.org) FreeBSD Core Team -- ]] Mike Smith, Software Engineer msmith@gsoft.com.au [[ ]] Genesis Software genesis@gsoft.com.au [[ ]] High-speed data acquisition and (GSM mobile) 0411-222-496 [[ ]] realtime instrument control.
