Actually, you don't even need another machine; you can use your existing RPI2:

  * Copy the card.
  * Boot the RPI2 from the copy
  * Mount the original via any SD <-> USB adapter
  * Do your changes

As a bonus, the copy will serve as a backup in case you get something wrong.
