Hi all, After my browsing of the various mail archives, I saw a number of things worth mentionning: - NFS on FreeBSD does not support file locking. Maybe it will in the future but it probably won't inter-operate with Sun's. - There isn't a port of smbfs to FreeBSD yet. Does that mean that there is currently no mechanism in FreeBSD that would do the equivalent of a distributed file system that would also do proper file locking? Please, tell me it isn't so and that I missed the references to that great thing that FreeBSD has :-) Thanks a lot, Yves Lepage
