It happens whether I am using nat or not or if filters are being used or not. It occurs while connections are actively moving data. Modem connection is via a Courier v.90 connecting to ISP running USR Total control or Cisco AS5200 servers. The tun0 entry with my static ip and the gateway ip remains. This is getting to be very frustating.
