Hi Daniel, Scott, Jason, I have a Tecra 8100 (which I understand is quite similar to the 8000), that I have been fighting with to get the internal modem working. Running 4.6.2-RELEASE. First I tried version 1.4_3 of the ltmdm port and nothing happened when I ran the installed /usr/local/etc/ltmdm.sh start script. I then updated to 1.4_5, from the ports collection that comes with 4.8-RELEASE, but haven't upgraded the OS on the laptop yet, and still NOTHING. I found the BIOS setup on this laptop rather confusing and lacking in detail. Any recommendations on settings for "Configure Devices by OS" vs. Configure All Devices"? Settings for COM1, settings for internal modem (what's the secondary IRQ used for????), such as to improve the chances of ltmdm working? What is the version of the port that should work with 4.6.2-RELEASE and 4.8-RELEASE? Thanks in advance, Bernie __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster.
