The readme file in /usr/src/sys/ufs/ffs/README.softupdates states the following: : Tue May 19 16:20:27 PDT 1998 : IMPORTANT NOTE: The Soft Updates code is currently in ALPHA test. : Use at your own risk! Given the fact it is almost 2 years old now, is the code considered to be out of alpha testing yet? Or does this still hold true? Perhaps someone needs to update this readme to reflect it's current status? A glance at the RCS tags suggests that the code hasn't been edited much lately.
