It does not work at all otherwise. Trust me, I've tried | everything. Yep, have i915kms. My BIOS is version GMET71WW (2.19). I have the quad core CPU and the 2880x1620 LCD. My kernel is based on r297366M. I'm booting in UEFI mode with vt and have tried non-UEFI with vt before and it didn't work. Thanks, Doug A.
