To quote both:
- My 4.2BSD Symmetric 375,
{hardware designed by, & defunct manufacturer presided by} Bill Jollitz
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root 918 May 27 1986 /usr/bin/install
#! /bin/sh
# @(#)install.sh 4.7 (Berkeley) 9/7/85
- 4.3 printed CSRG URM
man install
SYNOPSIS
install [ -c ] [ -m mode ] [ -o owner ] [ -g group ] [ -s ] binary destination
On the 4.4 Lite CD, I only found xinstall.
Personaly, I'd prefer to have -d available.
