I knew I'd be vindicated one day for adding redundant functionality to netstat (netstat -g's Group Memberships vs ifmcstat). :-) I say we keep netstat -g and nuke ifmcstat -- it's not even useful for the 'I've got a coredump file here and I want to know what the multicast groups were when I took the dump' situation as it takes no other arguments. If we need *that* functionality it should go elsewhere as per Brooks' suggestion to me in private email, IMHO.
