Don't know about sup, but the web server (httpd) recently started
dumping core, logfiles report death by SIGBUS.  Its now running
under inetd because it wouldn't stay up reliably as a standalone.
Maybe freefall is a little ill?  I gather sendmail went off into
la-la-land recently too.
