Hi guys, I'm trying to determine the good commands to initialise a disk. I would like to get the same result than with the sysinstall fdisk. But If I use the handbook's command: # dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/ad2 bs=1k count=1 # fdisk -BI ad2 # disklabel -B -w -r ${disk}s1 auto I do not get the same result. The slice is not defined exactly the same and the geometry is also not the same. How can I get exactly the same result with a command line thant with the sysinstall's fdisk (A = Use Entire)? Thanks cheers Alex
