-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I have a first-gen MacBook Pro (MacBookPro1,1) with an hda soundcard. Sound does not play through the internal speakers. Instead, I need to hook up speakers to the headphone jack. This laptop runs recent - -CURRENT, and this has never worked. The mixer reports: Mixer vol is currently set to 75:75 Mixer pcm is currently set to 75:75 Mixer speaker is currently set to 75:75 Mixer line is currently set to 75:75 Mixer rec is currently set to 0:0 A verbose dmesg can be found at http://www.marcuscom.com/downloads/gyros_dmesg.txt . The snd_hda module is loaded from loader.conf. I saw a few reports about sound on BOTH speaker and headphone, but this is just headphone. A previous commit (rev. 1.12 of hdac.c) made me think that this sound work, though maybe only for the MacBook (not Pro). Any suggestions? Thanks.
