There's an issue with AMI controllers over-reporting the number of outstanding commands they can handle, which was worked around recently. I haven't been able to tie either of the outstanding problem reports directly to the driver or adapter; they both seem to be related to external symptoms. In summary, however, I would at this very moment recommend the Mylex adapter family over the AMI family. I'm hoping to bring things to a more equitable state in the coming months, but time alone will tell. -- \\ Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. \\ Mike Smith \\ Tell him he should learn how to fish himself, \\ msmith@freebsd.org \\ and he'll hate you for a lifetime. \\ msmith@cdrom.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
