You will need a make world (not really, make in the appropriate subdirs _should_ suffice, but it's safer) and a make kernel to get the new types integrated everywhere. I compiled a few worlds, a few kernels and LINT and played around with those machines a bit. NFS stills works, ssh doesn't die, all other things like cvs pserver and what not also still work. The further points which I have is to clean up considerably all over the source where I can (including, as with this, the manpages). People are encouraged to test of course, see if any sign extension bugs surface (which Bruce tells me takes one year or one cracker). -- Jeroen Ruigrok van der Werven/Asmodai asmodai(at)wxs.nl The BSD Programmer's Documentation Project <http://home.wxs.nl/~asmodai> Network/Security Specialist BSD: Technical excellence at its best Learn e-mail netiquette: http://www.lemis.com/email.html Love will draw us in, to wipe out Tears away...
