[-- Attachment #1 --] Hi, I am trying to install FreeBSD on a Dell 2450 RAID 5 machine. When I boot off of the 4.1.1 CD, it tells me that there is no disks in the system. I see the system detect a Adaptec 7899 device. What can be the problem? The system is currently running win2k, and it boots perfectly off the raid. The system is a test server, and it's moving from 2k to fbsd (i will reformat) --Phil Rosenthal Like Whoa, Inc. phil@likewhoa.com [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 5.50.4522.1800" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hi,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am trying to install FreeBSD on a Dell 2450 RAID 5 machine.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>When I boot off of the 4.1.1 CD, it tells me that there is no disks in the system.
