Folks, Okay, I finally admit it. I just discovered that I've been running FreeBSD 3.2-RELEASE all this time, and not 3.2-STABLE. This despite the fact that I've been installing from <ftp://ftp.de.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/3.2-STABLE/> (which is actually just a symlink to 3.2-RELEASE in that same directory). The output from `uname -a` has always been there for anyone to see. I just wasn't paying attention. Sigh.... I now return you to your regularly scheduled snorting of hot McDonald's coffee through one's nose. ;-) -- These are my opinions -- not to be taken as official Skynet policy ____________________________________________________________________ |o| Brad Knowles, <blk@skynet.be> Belgacom Skynet NV/SA |o| |o| Systems Architect, News & FTP Admin Rue Col.
