hi all... i have a new 5.4R installation on t30 thinkpad. trying to get the sound drivers in the kernel. adding: device pcm doesn't work. it used to work with 5.3. adding 'device sound' didn't do much. when i start x i get 'No volume control elements and/or devices found' is there any other driver for the 'SoundBlaster compatible' sound card? which one should i use instead of pcm? thanks --
