Is there a list of PCI motherboards (or chipsets (?) ) which are known
to work with FreeBSD with caching enabled?

I've looked at the systems FAQ, but it's a little on the small side, and
the PC hardware compatibility section in the handbook is empty (mental
note: write something about these experiences to go in it).

The list of uses of FreeBSD at http://freefall.cdrom.com/What/uses.html
doesn't seem (as far as I can tell) to list all the information I'd
need. OTOH, I'm not 100% sure of exactly what information I need, so any
advice will be gratefully received.
