I met beat@ a few days ago at pkgsrccon and we looked at it. Neither pvr250 nor pvrxxx from ports compiled on his 8.0; it looks like additional changes are needed to adapt it to driver call signature changes in 8.0. beat agreed to take a look at it, I don't know how far he progressed.
