The disklabel on my SmartMedia card is not used apropriately. Although "disklabel da0" show the correct disklabel the devices /dev/da0c and /dev/da0a do not show up. Another "disklabel -w da0" is necessary.

camcontrol rescan and reset do not help.

1. disklabel -w da0
2. reboot
3. disklabel da0
   shows disklabel
4. ls /dev/da0*
   show just /dev/da0
5. disklabel -w da0
6. ls /dev/da0*
   shows /dev/da0, /dev/da0a, /dev/da0c
