Hi,

I cvsup'ed my source this morning, and after a successfull 'make
buildworld' I launch 'make buildkernel KERNCONF=GENERIC' - shortly after
it dies with the following message:

sh /usr/src/sys/kern/genassym.sh genassym.o > assym.s
perl5 /usr/src/sys/kern/vnode_if.pl -h /usr/src/sys/kern/vnode_if.src
perl5: Perl is not installed, try 'pkg_add -r perl'
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC.
*** Error code 1

I have perl installed.. but a kernel build does not normally depend on
perl ??

Let me know if you need additional info.

/mich
